Scouts collect Cell Phones for Recycling

The 1st Yennadon scouting group is collecting used cell phones as part of
PITCH-IN CANADA's NATIONAL RECYCLING PROGRAM.
The program gathers old cell phones headed for the dump and donates them to
poor countries and to CANADIANS who need a cell phone for safety and
communication but can't afford one.
the program refurbishes or remanufactures phones in almost any condition.
Phones and batteries that can not be reused are recycled to recover metals
and plastics, which is good for the envioronment.
"Cell Phones contain many toxins that are very hazardous to our environment
and they should not end up in landfills," said 1st Yennadon scouting group
coordinator Lee Hamilton.
"We are very excited about this opportunity to introduce re-used and
recycling to our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts."
PITCH-IN Canada's aim is to reuse and
recycle as many as 60 MILLION USED CELL PHONES THIS YEAR.
"We are pleased to support the development of secondary industries which are
involved in recycling," said National volunteer Chair Alice Johnson.
"This is a 'win-win'program for the enviornment, for the groups collecting
cell phones, PITCH-IN Canada and the Remanufacturer, PHONE BACK Canada, our
partner in this program.
Used cell phones can be dropped off at the
Yennadon Scout Hall, 23461 Fern Crescent in Maple Ridge BC.

This is just one of many tactics to encourage cell phone usage. The cell phone companies are giving away phones and giving away air time for free. Their Elite controllers can better eavesdrop on citizens while at the same time giving the masses diseases by which will kill them faster. There is no where to hide in this highly sophisticated technology Police State grid.
